Hey,
I am looking to change the style of my hair, below is the current length/look of my hair:
I would like to change into something, basically more 'emo' looking (with the long hair, parts of the hair dyed etc), just because I think it looks cool + it would make me happy :)
Something like this:
*Kudos to the person in the pic with the awesome hair.
I'm thinking just about growing it until it reaches this length and just straighten it.. but I was thinking if it might be a good idea to see about hair extensions (so they are 1) permanently straight and 2) is quicker then waiting for natural hair).. but i'm not sure.
If possible, could you please give me advice on hair growth or considering hair extensions and also the colouring (so one part of your hair is blonde, the other is black/dark brown).
Thanks =]

Hmm.. I don't think it would be a hard look to pull off. As for the hair extensions, your hair looks to be not so far away from the picture you posted. All you would really need to do is grow your bangs about mid-nose I'd say, and maybe a bit more around the sides.
For the color all you would really need to do is keep the bangs black and then dye the rest blonde. There seems to be some blonde highlights in the bangs aswell, so you could also do that if you wanted.
Your hair looks good, very healthy; I think the more emo style will suit you too.
I find the best thing for growing my hair as fast as possible is eating a good diet including plenty of oily fish, unsalted nuts, seeds (flaxseeds, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds especially), eggs, fresh fruit and vegetables of every colour plus 3-4 litres of water each day. I also cut out alcohol, caffeine and refined sugars and replace any unhealthy fats with olive oil or flaxseed oil. I hope this works for you too - good luck!
Give a man a fire and he's warm for a day, but set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life.

Don't mind the person's comment above me. I think the emo style is very awesome. Plus, it doens't look as if you're going to have to do to much to your hair. I think it'll look good once you do it. Just let your hair grow out a little and go to a salon. (I'd suggest doing it at home, but unless you know what you're doing, the blonde may turn really yellow/gold or even orange.) Oh, and lemme know how the shampoo & conditioner worked out, I heard those type of things don't work but I got a bad haircut so I'm pretty desprate to try anything. Good luck.
