I had my hair relaxed 4 months ago (I had really fluffy hair and I was sick of having it short... I'm a guy) but now it kind of sucks, because it's not as smooth and healthy as it was the first month of having it relaxed. And the thing is, the girl who did it for me started in the back then worked her way up to the front, then washed it all out at the same time and as a result the front was always barely even straightened at all. So I was thinking, what if I had someone re-relax my already relaxed hair for me (plus the roots), except start FRONT to BACK instead, then wash out, so it's more even? I asked my regular local hair girl (because I went to an expensive salon a little ways away to get it done the first time) and she said it would be totally okay to do that... but then after I get that done, I was hoping I could dye my dark dark brown hair a little lighter with the Garnier 100% Color, UB-3 (golden brown) that I bought a little while ago. It's not a big difference at all but would it still be way too damaging to my hair? A big reason I think my hair got worse since the first month is because when I was there I bought the $40 Okara shampoo and $45 Okara conditioner, but when they ran out I just used Garnier Fructis for chemically-treated hair. BUT, if I got my hair relaxed again (and then maybehopefully dyed) I would definitely be willing to switch back to expensive shampoo and conditioner and whatever else I need for it.

Also, today I picked up a couple different John Frieda "RELAX" products for relaxed hair, maybe they'll make a difference too? Well here's hoping.
