I have short (about an inch below my earlobe) dark blond with no bangs, very little layers, and very straight and fine. It can barely hold curls. My dress is light gold with a sort of rounded strapped neck. My face is oval, and I have sort of big ears so I can`t put all my hair up, it looks better if my hair is part down. I`m not wearing earings (cause I don`t have pierced ears) so that doesn`t matter if my hair covers my ears. Oh, and I`m 17, if that matters... :) Janet
P.S. Here`s a picture of me taken around 2 months ago, my hair is a little bit longer but I`ve gotten it trimmed a little since then so it`s only a LITTLE bit longer! :) http://neopets-archeology.tripod.com/Janetsmile.jpg
You could give your hair more texture rather than keeping it straight. Go to a salon and get more layers and put it half up and half down with a hairchitecture or some kind of cute accessory and put little hair jewels in your hair to accent it. When you get your layers, ask the stylist to sort of flip out the layers at the bottom.
If you want to keep it straight then get a really cute hair accessory, preferebly gold and just clip it at the side of your head.
Katiee gave you great advice--have you seen Sharon Stone`s current style, because it would look great on you. It`s very layered and textured. And for the record, I`m really jealous of your straight hair. Mine is a mess :-) Have fun at prom.
