QuoteReplyTopic: Clip on extensions...are these okay? Posted: April 17 2006 at 11:19pm
So, I was on ebay. trying to get cheap extensions to try out. I want to add alot of length (my hair is to my chin) and so I think I need alot. These are cheap, and clip in, so they are easy to work with, do you think they are okay? I want like close to a full head so I have longer/natural looking hair, and this stuff seems pretty good. How many sets do you think i would need to buy to get a full head, and could I clip them all in and still look natural? Thanks
12" I think is the perfect length though. I think it's easier to achieve a
natural look using 12", which can be harder using clip-ons. But, you can
always buy it longer and cut it to the right length.
The second longer one it's hard to see how many clips it comes with,
what I would suggest, if you can, buy more than you think you would
need, that way if you want to put more in you can, and if you lose some,
or some get damaged, you wont have to worry about finding the same
ones, or wait for them in the mail.
It would be 10 inches around my head which doesn't sound too bad. I could get two sets for a total of 20 inches.
My only question is, if I buy two sets, do you think It would be enough to make it look real-for almost a full head? I don't think just one set would do, but possibly two?
I just bought my clip ins from edens extensions on e-bay only around eighty something. they are 18 inches and one set fills out great. really nice hair also.
The 18 inches come down past my bra line and over the brest in the front. oh yea and it has 1 eight inch, 1 seven inch, 2 six inch,4 four inch, and eight two inch
That sounds great...I really can't pay that much though. I've only got so much money LOL. I sound really cheap, but I'm a real penny pincher...even the best deals seem too much. But, I do want to look pretty, so thats why the above auction sounds pretty good to me. Plus, I'm not losing much by spending $24 on some clip ins.
About a year ago I bought a weft off of ebay for $100. The hair easily tangled, and I couldn't even do a full head it was so thin. I cut it up to add thickness, but it got really messy. It also hurt really bad gluing the wefts in and they showed through pretty bad. I think clip ins would work best for me, and i'm never going to spend $100 on extensions unless I know they are good.

These are five 2" width pieces. That's for the sides, not the back of
your hair. You need a wider one for the back since you don't want a
bunch of small ones. I don't think these are the right ones!!!

well i bought some they are good as u can wear then dring a night out and quickly take them out before u go to bed, most sets come with enough hair for ur whole head, but make sure like all extensions u dont put them to high on ur head as people will be able to see the wefts and u dont want that, also make sure u by good quality hair as some sell really course hair that gets realy notty, i also found that wearing them all day gave me headache and hurt my scalp but that may just be me!!

Did you get the same (or close to) kind as what i'm getting? I don't mind having so many small ones in my hair. The bigger ones have like two less clips but are 5x more expensive.
