QuoteReplyTopic: Help finding Extensions in St. Louis Posted: April 19 2006 at 7:35pm
I am in St. Louis on vacation and will be going to Vegas next week. I am meeting my fiance there and really wanted to have the extensions done before I go. I don't know if any of you know of any good extensionists or not. My hair isn't real long and sort of fine but I looked at Great Lengths
www.greatlengths.net and the "before and after photos" section there is a girl 5 pix over with shorter bleach blonde hair that pretty well is my style now. If you click on her after, it's GORGEOUS and that's what I want but wondering if there isn't somewhere cheaper than Great Lengths that can do the cold fusion method. The lady here who does Great Lengths quoted me $2000 and can do it Saturday but I just get leery spending that much on hair. She also said it lasts 6 months and I remember you all saying that it did not. I just don't know and would really like help pretty please.
I don't know if anyone remembers me here but I had a full sew in a couple of times and it's very heavy so I'm hoping my hair is long enough now to do a fusion method or something like it...shrinkies maybe?? but I don't know where to look to find them. There are 900 salons in St. Louis but not many advertise extensions and I hate to sit all day and night calling each of them. Guess I could though...HA
Thanks for any help!! :)

I can even get it done in Vegas really. Just going to have tons of people looking me over when I'm with him and want to look my best. It won't be that big of an issue until after Vegas probably so anyone knows of any good places there as well I'll take suggestions. :)

I found someone to do microlinks? and bonding I think. She said she was going to use two different methods on me to make it blend better and hide all the wefts. Her and her partner had a book of their work and it was really good. I couldn't ever see extensions on anyone no matter how short their hair was before and no mullet heads, which was hugely important to me. She's charging $800 total and that's doing my roots, doing the install of extensions, and then styling and blending them. I didn't think that was too bad. She took $150 deposit today and the rest is due before she does them on Saturday afternoon. I can't wait!!
They showed me the wefts..Bohyme so I knew they were pretty good right there as most of the extensionists back home don't even know that brand. HA .. and they are tiny, tiny little wefts ...the part that is close to your head. I'm not sure what they call them but they were at least half as thick as regular wefts.
