I have been wearing my Lush install for 2 weeks now, and I melted about 4 tips together, then placed them in the tapes.  On the very top row I just used the one sided method.  I have found that the tips hold great in the tape, I have had a few fall off from the top row, but I think that was because I overlaped a few of the tips.  One of my biggest problems is the SHEDDING, I mean SHEDDING!!  It is unreal, I don't know if it is because I fused the tips together, but I thought they had plenty of glue on them, or if the keritin is just breaking down.  All I know is that my vaccume is ready to blow it's motor if I don't change something quick!!

My biggest problem is the hair, like I said it has been installed for only 2 weeks,  and it is like straw!!!  I can't even wear it down anymore, it went to crap at about day 4, so basically after the 2nd wash.  I always condition and I have been using pantenee, so you know it has lots of silicon going on, but nothing I use or do will help it.  I am so disappointed with this hair, I has crapped out on me sooner the BSS hair  ever has.  It is comming out tomorrow and I am installing some Diva hair.

I just put in my lush the same way.  I have gone thru 2 washes and it seems to be getting nicer.  I even colored...I only use pureology hydrate products on it.  You may wantto try the pureology reconstruct repair.

I got my lush in 2 batches.  the first batch was a #10 I think and I colored it a medium golden reddish brown.  It was very dry afterward.  I set it aside for a week or so(out of my head).  Then I got my second batch.  It was auburn#30.  I darkened it to the same color as my first batch.  It is much nicer then the first batch.  Also had less nits(sp?) on it.

I do have a fair amount of shedding too.  More then I thought I would after melting them all together & sticking them in the protac.  These are my first hh extensions, I didn't want to empty the checkbook until I know if I liked them or not.  Next time it's bohyme or the diva hair for me.....

Amanda

I didn't have a shedding problem with the lush. I did melt a few strands
together for microlinks (i like thicker strands) it's not exactly the same,
but I can't remember any shedding at all.

But I had the same problem, after about 3 minutes it would be a tangly
mess, even if I was just sitting still, nonetheless doing my normal running
around. They felt horrible, and nothing seemed to repair them!

I think at the end there was lots of inconsistancy in the batches. It
seemed like some people had wonderful luck with it and others, who were
doing the same things had it crap out on them.

I tried re-installing some recently so I could put some red streaks in and
it was the same. I thought before it was the weather and dry air making it
worse, but no, I think I just got a crappy batch

I had a similar experience with the Lush.  Did you notice that some of the people who had wonderful luck also happene d to have a lot of it for sale?  I couldn't understand how Tangles could rave about it...yet was selling it.  Why wouldn't she just use it on her clients if it was so great?  Just curious.

The stuff that I am wearing was the batches that were having bleeding problems when washed the first few times.  I was unsure if I would have enough hair so I also purchased some from a board member that did not like it, so I did kinda know what I was getting into.  I was just hoping that it would turn out different for me, guess I was wrong.  Live and learn.  Costly mistake, but oh well!!

ok, well are u asking me or just putting it out there for speculation?

let me explain, as i have ALREADY explained when i was selling some of it~

first off let me say i for one, have NEVER had one problem with any of the lush i purchased, and let me also say i had purchased over 4,000 strands. yes i said four thousand strands.what can i say i got carried away! That was one of the reasons i decided to sell some. also, i personally use custom made smaller sized locs. Some of the tips esp. in the darker colors were a bit too big to fit into the locs i use. i actually have no more lush avail for my own clients and i have none left to sell as well, and to add to that, the peeps i sold a few packs to love it as well,

its very unfortunate some people have had a bad experience with lush, but for me, that is not the case and it certainly is not the reason i was offering to sell some of it. hopes this satisfies your curiousity.

98% of the hair she acquired was installed and refitted during client maintenance. The remaining wouldn't fit into the custom shells she sources. Her installs were gorgeous and her clients were thrilled. :)
