Hello! For a long time now I have been stretching my relaxer but it was so thick and puffy I couldn't take it any more. I decided to use Elasta QP extra body relaxer b.c I heard it was pretty good for hair type 4/b. So, the relaxer is in now and its super shiny and a bit long but its suppper thin. I have thin hair anyway but I guess I forgot what its like after dealing with all the new growth. I try to use the curling iron and everything for body but it doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Thanks

I had the thin hair problem as well when I was relaxed. This is one of the reasons that I gave up the relaxer. Now that I am natural I am able to keep my length as well as my thickness.

You can try shampoos, conditioner, and products specifically for adding body and volume to hair. Sometimes the way the hair is styled can add body or the look of body, wetsetting/rollersetting can help make hair fuller with body. You can also try Garnier Fructis Body & Volume shampoo/conditioner/products, Pantene Body/Volume or Full/thick products, etc. just to name a few. HTH

Thanks! Well the day of the relaxer, I wrapped my hair under a hooded dryer then blow dried and tried to curl it was so straight it wouldn't hold a curl. So... 2 days ago I washed my have a again but this time i blow dried it out then flat ironed and i had body! So now I know that after I shampoo to follow up with the blow dryer. Thanks for all the tips
