QuoteReplyTopic: Hot holidays and glue in wefts? Posted: April 27 2006 at 11:39am
Hello!
This is my first post here so be kind as I dont know if this is the right place for it to be! eeek! So sorry if it isn't!
Okay my dilema................. I wear glue in wefts (human hair) and they often last me about 4 weeks if I'm lucky (i use a latex glue called le kair?)
Amyway my hair is mayjorly short and I hate it but I'm living on a greek island for 3 months and I'm going to be working out there. I'm just worried that the hair isn't going to last long- I wont be going swimming as im a total beach person and will only sunbathe () but im worried that the heat in general will just melt the dglue- ive been there before and it's been so hot. Anyway I just wanted advice on weather it would be possible to maintain them out there. I plan to cover the hair up during the day and I have no problem changing and putting new hair in myself- I'm just worried that with the hot weather there only going to last a few days!
So anybody that lives in a hot country (im from england, very cold and rainy) can you tell me if its possible to keep these damn wefts in in hot weather!
not sure about that, but a friend of mine used BSS glue and her hottub
destroyed it. but that water is short of boiling, i doubt that
greece is hotter than central texas (100+ degree F. on hot days), and
there's plenty of gals here that wear glue-ins.
what I'm wearing: 1 pkg 18" DLux SS #2 and protac

Not that I've found, I usually don't use glue, I use pro-tacs, and it's
endured some pretty hot days, nothing insanely hot though. Here's what
I'm thinking, sometimes I go tanning A LOT and it gets pretty hot in
there! I didn't even have any slippage and stuff. Think about blowdrying
too, blasting the heat directly on it...I think you will be fine!

you could always make your wefts into clipins then you wouldnt have to worry about the glue melting just the clip getting hot and burning your head lol
