i haven't tried either but i would think keracare works better. it's more concetrated and not watered down so it so be better for your hair in my opinion...I've never actually heard anything bad about Keracare but a few un-good things about neutrogena....
Hair Type- 4a/b *transitioning front of my head*
Length-ranges from 5-7 inches =)
Products- Garnier Fructis S & S Poo, Lustrasilk Shea Butter Mango Conditioner and Cantu-Leave in =)
I have used NTM shampoo and conditioner, it was good. It defined my waves more clearly, smelt good, detangled, made my hair more manageable and shiny. My hair was less frizzy, and more soft. I LOVE the conditioner. I stopped using it because it was too expensive, and I didn't really like the ingredients.
I also used Keracare hydrating shampoo when I finally found a store that carried the product. It was also good. I liked that one a little better, because it didn't weigh down my hair like NTM did. It smells similar to creme of nature shampoo. It did all the things that NTM did. I stopped using it for the same reasons as NTM.

KeraCare hands down. I tried one product from Neutrogena..and it sucked. I have been using KeraCare for quite some time now, and yes it gets the job done. I recommend KeraCare Humecto Creme Conditioner.

If you don't mind me asking, what's your hair texture? Do you wear your hair permed or natural?

It is moisturizing indeed. Right now I'm "in between" I guess you could say. I began texlaxing late last year, so most of hair is not too straight except the ends. I've recently noticed that my hair is in fact curly, and i have used KeraCare on it, of course, and it worked the same to me, just a difference in the appearance in my hair while have the Humecto on it..it was a little curly top head..

I just went to get my hair trimmed, for the first time since my big
chop, the day before yesterday. The lady who cut my hair said my hair
was dry and needed a moisturizer. I'm so shy so I didn't say anything
but the reason it was dry was because I had just washed it before I
left the house and didn't put anything on it because I was going to get
it cut. She sold me the moisturizer. It's KeraCare OIL MOISTURIZER WITH
JOJOBA OIL. When I got home, I read the ingredients:
Water, Mineral Oil, Beeswax, Castor Oil, Petrolatum, Lanolin,
Dimethicone, Sodium Borate, Cetyl Alcohol, Tocopherol Acetate (Vitamin
E), Retinol (Vitamin A), Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3), Perfume,
Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Imidazolidinyl Urea, BHT.
I normally avoid these ingredients so I'm not sure how I feel about it
yet. My mom said my hair was soft. I may use it for a while and just
make sure to shampoo more often.
Type: 3c/4a Natural
Current Length: 6"
Goal: Healthy, tip of nose /neck/shoulder length hair.
