Hi everyone!

How do I give a compliment to a girl that has great hair?  I figure they would like to get a compliment since obvious they work hard making their hair look so good. When I see a girl behind a counter or something like that, a girl in a store I am talking to, I want to but don't want to sound like I'm coming on to them.

Thanks for that it was helpful.  I think i will try, and I have heard that if you smile you can say just about anything to anyone
 
Also, any advice how to ask your girlfriend or wife to grow their hair long?  I know it's possibly a touchy subject, but I am willing to risk it because I feel strongly enough about it. It's always been my dream for my girlfriend or future wife to have long hair 6-8 inches above the belt <sigh> 
 
So any advice or experiences would be appreciated!

Hair is a very personal issue, and really, she should cut it whatever length she wants.  However, if you've never made it known that you would like her to have longer hair, it isn't wrong for you to mention it to her.  She may feel pressured to have short hair like most women and really does want to grow it long but never had the confidence to do what she wanted!  However, if you mention it to her, and she really does like her hair kept short, then unfortunately, it is her decision and should be respected.

If it is your girlfriend or your wife you have a strong enough relationship to be able to talk about anything communication in any relationship is important.  Yes, let her know that you would like her hair to be longer.
There is nothing like a head of healthy hair.
