Like the soap operas they appear on, the Daytime Emmy Awards (on TV in the evening) had a variety of hairstyles...

Best in Show: Gina Tognoni of Guiding Light. I love that she ditched the fake blonde she had on One Life to Live. Classy style for a fun to watch actress.

First Runner-up: Levin Ramblin. I don't know who she plays on All My Children, but I'll tune in to find out. Tasty.

Second Runner-up: Tracey Bregman. What a looker!

Worst Hair Performance by a Major Award Winner: Kim Zimmer. She took home the best actress award, but it wasn't for her hairstyle, which looks lousy on Guiding Light and looked even worse on the Emmy show.

Do Something With Your Hair Already: Portia DeRossi. While I love her long hair, she seems to put no effort into it when she's on Ellen's arm.

I thought ROBIN SCORPIO (sorry, don't know her real name) from GH was the highlight of the red carpet.  

I also kind of liked Portia's bangs and ponytail.  She has come a long way since Ally Macbeal!!!!
