When you place the hair on top of the head for an up hairstyle, how do you keep it from falling? What is used?

Depending on the style, you might have to secure some of the hair with hair ties first. Kirby grips and bobby pins ("wavy tipped hair pins") are essentials for me.

Basically, take a trip to your local drugstore (in the UK this would be Superdrug or Boots, don't know the US equivalent) and look in the hair section. You'll find all you need quite cheaply.
