    Posted: May 27 2006 at 11:20am
Hello ladies:

I have finally come up with a hair regimine for myself. Would any of you be so kind to critique what I have come up with so far? I have decided to join the Shoulder Length Challenge and want to make sure I'm on the right track

Here is what I have come up with:
Pre Poo 1 x week with EVOO/WGHO/ETC
Poo 1 x week with Creme of Nature
Co Wash 2 x week with Mane and Tail adding EVOO
Deep Con 1 X week with ORS Replenishing PAK
Cut down on heat, Air Dry hair. Roller set nightly. Keep hair wet with Lottabody, diluted
Surge Plus 14 twice a day. Seal with WGO 3 X week
Moisturize daily with ORS Olive Oil or Hawaiian Silky
Moisturize ends with Elasta EQ Mango Butter and seal with Hot 6 Oil or WGO

So what do you ladies think? Too much? Please give any suggestions that you have on products. For instance, I am not sure of a Deep Con or a Daily Leave in. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Chanelle- Are you natural or relaxed?
Secondly- you only need to deep condition 1-2 a week when you are shampooing unless u are a no-pooer.
Thirdly- deep conditioner recs- cholesterol, lamaur's bone marrow, miss keys 10 en 1, rivas silicon mix, emergencia-(or a mixture of the last three), leavein recs- aussie hair insurance, surge plus 14 hair revitalizer, infusium 23 frizz control leavein

Hope this helps a little.

I am relaxed. I do shampoo so I will cut it down to 2 a week as my hair is extremly dry. Thanks so much for the suggestions. I will be in the BSS tonight

Carameldiva: I changed my regimine a little, is that better or should I be doing less? Also do you think it is too much that I roller set my hair nightly?

Chanelle, it looks good to me. But i'd advise that you because wil ORS Replenishing pack because if i recall correctly it is also a protien treatmet..and too much protien can cause hair to break off

Thanks, Sakura.   Can you suggest a good Deep Conditioner that doesn't have protein?

Sure thing, the deep conditioner i use is a kindda homemade one but it works wonderful and you can add or change it as you feel the need. Its a moisture treatment also.. so you get a deal- two for one!

Snowy's Fave Moisture Treatment
1 part Fave conditioner (must be moisture)
1/4 part honey
1/4 part clear aloe vera gel (I use Fruit of the Earth).

Place in a cup and warm in microwave for 10 to 15 seconds--just until warm. Wash hair and squeeze out excess, blot dry, leave in under heat cap, warm towels or shower cap, what have you, for an hour or so. Rinse well. Finish (add leave-in if you do so) and style as usual Wah-la!!! Extreme Moistness. This is great after protein treatments!!! WOOT!!!

Thats the orginal recipie, sometimes i add a bit of oil- okay more than a bit and sometimes i dont use the aloe.

Here is the site where i found the treatment, they have lots of great info.
