We have well water and as a result, there is a lot of iron buildup in my long hair. Are there any products available that will remove this iron buildup? Thank you!!! Shadow

There are water filters that you can purchase either for the sink, shower, or for the whole house. Even though I live in the city, I have used a shower unit for several years to remove chlorine and this has helped to soften both skin and hair. The unit I use comes from Equinox and they make all different types and they remove heavy metals as well.

Hi Shadow:

One good product you can use is Malibu 2000. I believe you would have to go to the salon and have a professional do this for you.

Hi Shadow,
I was told to make a paste with baking soda and water and to massage that into hair in the shower, rinse that out. Follow that proceedure with regular shampoo.
