I'm texturized, and I want to use the Cantu Shea Butter Oil Moisturizer on straight hair. I notice it doesn't say that it has "water" in it.
I know that Pokahontas uses this product and has natural hair. I'm wondering if it's "wet" enough to make my straight hair turn wavy? I'm looking for something that won't make my hair "wet", but will moisturize it so I can use it for my blowouts. It's great for braidouts, BTW.
Hair type: who knows?
Length: 23 inches as of 3/10/06
MY HAIR IS OFFICIALLY BRA STRAP LENGTH!!
Goal: Waist Length, which is only 30 inches so
ADVISE ME ON HOW TO GET JUST 7 MORE INCHES OF GROWTH!

I know exactly what you mean by being wet and turning your hair wavy. I'm always scared to try moisturizers because of that reason but Cantu didn't revert my hair. Just make sure you don't use too much. There is one kind that I've never used, it's white in color and it looks wetter than the other.....I think that one may revert. The one I used is like yellowish in color and I think it's called Cantu Shea Butter Grow Strong treatment. This one didn't revert my hair but I made sure to apply sparingly. It moisturizes really well and it made my hair so soft.
