QuoteReplyTopic: Does exercising help block DHT? Posted: June 22 2006 at 11:51am
I've been reading about DHT and found no sources telling that exercise is a good prevention. From what I've read, the testosterone in combination with oil glands in the scalp creates DHT so when we exercise our scalp creates more oil thus increasing DHT levels, am I right??
So from my analogy exercise will do more harm than good.. or maybe I'm totally wrong.. someone clarify this for me please!!

I think the value of exercising is that it increases the blood flow and allows the blood to sweep away the DHT that forms, and limits accumulation of it within the hair follicle.
