Hello everybody, once again I need a little help from y'all. As some of you may know I am Canadian  and in a few weeks I am heading to see my American cousins in the wonderful  USA. While there I plan on stocking up on several hair care items from Sally's  (which is not located here) and I was wondering if you all could tell me what products you purchase from Sally's that you just  can't live without.  I want to buy products that DO NOT contain mineral oil, petrolum etc.  and would love to get your feedback.   I have read many articles on HB  but sometimes all the products everyone is talking about  can be a bit overwhelming and I would like to narrow things down if its posible.

I think my hair type is 4A if that is any help  and  I am looking for the following:  daily moisturizer, daily hair dress, daily leave-in conditioner,  deep conditioner and  reconstructive conditioner
I don not use heat on my hair often but when I do I would like a good
heat protectant.

I sometimes wear my hair straight and I really like the gorgous
sleek shine look? I often see american sistas have in their hair and I am wondering what product I could use to achieve this look.

Any other hair maintenance products that may not fit into the above catagories  but you feel it might be worth my while to purchase from Sally's please feel free to let me know.

Once again, thanks

daily moisturizer- s-curl no drip activator and moisturizer
daily leave in con- infusium 23
deep conditioner- ors replenishing pak
reconstructive conditioner- Ion repair solutions hair reconstructor treatment

ion anti frizz straight solutions straightening shampoo and conditioner
ion anti frizz straight solutions straightener work great if you want a straight look without having to use the flat iron and risk damaging your hair

I washed my hair with the poo and conditoner and then put the straightener on my hair and wrapped it wet and it came out soooooo straight the next day it looked like I'd flat ironed it!!

Have fun on your trip

I love nexxus! That have a good conditioner (humectress), and reconstructer( keraphix) It keeps my hair soft and well moisturized so that when I where is straight it won't frizz in humid or moist weather. I think you can find it anywhere though

Thank you Stillinlove63 and ladyflash you ladies have been a great help. I am definately going to pick up some of the Ion an Nexxus products  which sound really good.  I have noticed people talking quite a bit about the s-curl product and was wondering can you use it in any hair texture as a daily moisturizer and I hope this doesn't sound like a dumb   ,  but  if you are wearing your hair straight and use it as a moisturizer will it make your hair curly?

Also I would still love to hear from others more of your input on what products you can't live without from Sally's?  It can be anything!

lol no it's not a dumb ? S-curl has never made my hair curly while I'm wearing it str8 or if it has it wasn't enough for me to notice even though it says curl activator.  It should be fine for any hair texture. HTH

Thanks again Stillinlove63 and Pokahontas, I have the Wild Growth Oil and  the Beyond the Zone heat protectant  on my list. I am looking forward to trying both. I have noticed alot of ladies have mentioned  WGO... is that used on a daily basis?

I was also wondering if  there is much difference between the Aphogee  and Ion protien conditioners and protien reconstructors? ...should these be followed with a moisturizing condition.?

Also still looking for more feedback on products, but  I would especially  love to find a product that gives that bouncy sleek shine  look to hair. Any reccomendations?
