I am 37 and have very deep lines & wrinkles, especially on my forehead. It is very dry & seem to have lost its elasticity.
Does anyone have any recommendations for me? Or is it too late & I better save up for a face lift?

Cheer up!

I have heard that products containing GABA work best on wrinkles. Bliss has a product called Wrinkle Twinkle and Dermadoctor makes a cream called Immobile Lines, but it is a little expensive. Both are available @ Sephora.

You could try dermbrasion :) it pretty much replenishes your skin by taking off a few layers. I think its cheaper than a face lift but dont quote me on that.

Try Lamasbeauty.com. They have an anti-aging combo. It really does work and gives you beautiful skin.

NO! you are too young for a face lift! If you are going that route you could try Botox first.
However, this is what i think you should do. Find a dermatologist. They have some wonderful skin care regimens that REALLY work.
I was prescribed Differin gel for my adult acne, and one of the GLORIOUS effects is smoother, younger, more toned looking skin. In fact, many doctors prescribe Differin FOR wrinkles because it is a collegen building product (skin loses collegen as it ages)
Or you could try a light chemical peel. But a face lift should be your LAST resort.

fallenangel, have you tried anything? Any luck?
I recently starting using Ph Advantage's Rhydex-2 Wrinkle Relief, which contains the GABA element I mentioned before. So far I am pretty happy with the results. It appears to soften the fine lines during the day and fill in the lines before I put makeup on which avoids the makeup settling into the lines and accentuating them. I've done my reading and this looks like a good product for the long-term and will hopefully slow the signs of aging. Other than that, I just make sure I use a good sunscreen and avoid tanning my face.

i went to the dermatologist, he gave me samples of differin and also recommended over the counter products i could encorporate into a regimen......over the past year i have used a nightly Retinol cream (one by neutrogena), spf 15, and every 3-4 weeks i do a mild at home chemical peel- i am 36 and had years of sun/tanning salon damage and this regimen has really made a difference

The Neo Strata facial cleanser with 4% PHA is another product i simply cant live without. It exfoilates without scrubbing or drying out my face like Salicylic acid does.  Normally you can only get it from a dermatologist, but I just discovered you can buy it online!
I tried every over the counter exfoilator available and they were either a scrub (which I cant use cuz I have oily skin) or they contain Salicylic acid which just dried my face out. (dry skin with oil on top is the worst)
The Neo Strata is very gentle, yet REALLY exfoilates.MY skin is so smooth after using it I dont even need a lotion.
