Okay I'm really frustrated.  I have trouble braiding and I've been practicing on my hubby and myself but, here's my problem.  I can cornrow and/or french braid the left side of my head but I can't do the right.  I'm right handed and it seems like I'm doing everything right but, the right side never comes out right at all.
 
Has anyone ever had this happen?  I'm thinking about getting a manniquin head to learn on so I don't beat up on my hubby's head so often. 
 
Any other tips for me to learn?
