Whew! Thanks nusie. I thought I'd made the wrong decision. I ordered hair recently from EP and just wanted to be sure that I ordered the correct length. Deciding on lenght was the toughest part for me.
It also depends on where you would be measuring from too. And if you have a giraffe neck like mine. 18" is about my shoulder length. You ladies are lucky!
Since everyone's body proportions are different the lengths will fall differently on each person. I am tall with a long torso, so 18" usually falls just above the boob area whereas I have clients whose 18" extensions fall almost to the waist.
In my salon I use a tape measure to gauge length when trying to determine what to order. I measure from the lowest point to where I'm going to put them (usually underneath the occipital bone) and then I measure about 1" above the ear to gauge where the front is going to fall.
I'm six feet tall, and 12" of straight hair makes a nice shoulder-length for me. Bra strap takes 16" and my waist would be close to 22". (Yep, I'm thinking loooonger hair these days!)
Six feet Kristie! I'm 5'10. Wow, 22" would be your waist? Oh I'm jealous! 22" would probably be my bra strap! I'll have to show you a picture of my long neck! I always wanted a shorter neck but oh well, my sister got the good hair and shorter neck!

Yep, 22" to my waist. I have the longest legs in the world with a proportionally short torso. My family's all Scandinavian and German with freaky long legs and arms.

Diva, I've always loved that song! I've got some to still lose myself (lost almost 60 a few years ago but want to lose a little more.) I would be a veritable brick house if I could just shift a little from the bootay to the tatas (but I know it would take a plastic surgeon to do that!) I'm definitely an Amazon, though... scares a lot of guys off, but the love of my life is 6'6" and isn't frightened by me one bit!

Kristie, do me a favor? Measure your leg (s) from your hip bone to your ankle and tell me what you get? I was always told I had long legs but I'm thinking yours must be really really long!!!
