 im now trying to let my hair grow out and my friend told me that i should go to the barbershop and get a tape-up? doe anybody know what type of haircut is this?

I thought a tape up was the southern version to a shapeup. But im not sure.

in canada we call it a line up

i heard in the states its a shape up

its not a haircut its where if u had a widows peak or something u gettin it taken  off and keep ya hair lookin more neat overall.

Na a tape up is where the temple and the back of the neck are fadded out...it's good to get that when ur hair is high so ur sideburns and back of ur neck aren't all bushy lol

man we youngins call it tape.....older brothaz call it shape-up basically when u line up around ur hair..so u dont have all that hair growing below ur tapeline
