I'm trying to grow out my shoulder-length hair, and I was thinking about buying those clip-on hair extenstions. Has anyone every tried these before? How is the quality of the hair? I'd really appreciate some feedback before I spend the money on them.

Thanks,

LeLe

Hi,

The quality of clip ons can vary widely. Usually you can tell how good them are by the price. The more expensive the better the quality. It is rare to find real human hair clips ons. It is usually "plastic hair". I would never encourage anyone to buy clips on unless they can see and touch them first. Also, color matching is sometimes challenging because what one manufacturer considers to be ash blonde another manufacturer might consider dark blonde. See what I mean?

There are good clipsons out there and you can find them priced well and a good match. However, the best way to guarantee this is to try them out first rather than to order them through the mail. That can increase your risk of being unhappy with the results.

Hope that helps.

Best wishes,
Karen

I wear clip on hair, but I buy my own bags of human hair, sew together however many wefts I want to be in each piece, and then sew the clips in myself. Take them to a stylist to have them cut while you are wearing them and voila - clip on hair. When you go into the wig supplier ask for toupee clips.
