Why does my hair stick out on the sides?  It's about 1 1/2 inch long and thin
Is ther ne way i can make it flat naturally?

If you don't want to use any hair products, then you could just wear a bandana snug against your head while your hair is still wet, over that spot, and it almost assuredly will lie down.  Or, you could use conditioner after you shampoo or hair gel and comb it straight down.
