Estranged Distant Relative Comes to Town "Tomorrow

Hello.
I would like to get your input on this.

I have a relative coming into town tomorrow whose coming to visit a and stay a week. She is here on business and visiting someone else.

Now, here's my issue.
She arrives tomorrow and wants to see me and I'm simply not interested in seeing her at all. I haven't seen her in many years (to tell would be giving my age here).
Anyway, we aren't close but I don't want to be as blunt as I usually am because I don't believe in hurting ones feelings.

She doesn't have a good history with many personal issues. My life has changed drastically and I have my own life.

To make a very long story short, I don't want to seem like a villian, but it's just too much too soon. I got this news out of the blue and just had a few brief conversations with her...well, not really because she did all of the talking.
I'm simply NOT interested.
I thought about giving many excuses, but I just don't know.

If anyone has a wise word or two, please share.
