Help me... I hate my hair and want to change it but I don't know what I should change it to... I'm 20, a college student and seriously overweight. I'm looking for a look that is versatile, not really short, and easy to do while still looking "stylish"... right now my hair is mid-length ( about 3 inches past the shoulder) and a copper blonde color... with the exception of going really short I'm open to anything.... please help me!

Hi,

Check out style 4254 in the Interactive Style Selector.
http://www.hairboutique.com/gallery/gallerydetail.asp?Categories=12&Go=GO&ID=4254

I think this would be a great style for you. It is versatile, easy to do and very stylish. Shaggy styles are hot right now and this is just one example of the look.

Ask the stylist to graduate the style so that you can wear it messy or you can give it a polished look. You can wear this style with or without bangs.

With this style or one similar, you would not have to cut the length, just have soft graduated layers carefully sculted into your existing style. If you want to jazz up the look you can have some lighter shades strategically highlighted around your face. This will open up your face.

If you don`t like the style I suggested, you might consider a graduated bob that is less shaggy but still has that messy or polished style that is very versatile.

Best wishes,
Karen Shelton
