I think I might have scab hair For the most part my ng is very soft and manageable and it straightens pretty easily with my maxiglide. However there is a section of ng in the top midsection of my head that is sooo coarse and heat resistant! Anybody else experience this? Are there any vitamins that help soften ng? TIA

i had the same problem. but it only develop in the last 5 yrs. don't know why. but i found that it is an area that you have to keep moisturized. mine also would break all the time. i found that when i used CON detangling shampoo all the time, it would make it better but i also started taking MSM. i think it had alot to do with the change as well.

Oooo thanks so much kellie! How long did it take for the scab hair to heal? I just got my hair back in braids so I am really going to try taking msm and seeing if that helps it by the time I take my hair out
