Coloring Extension Hair (Bleach ?)

 

This may have been asked before, couldn't find anything though!

 

I am thinking of my next install.  I had bleached my hair blonde many years ago and am now going back to brown, a little darker each time, lol!

 

Anyhow, this time, I am going to go all brown, dark brown, prolly #4.  However, I want to put some foil caramel colored highlights along the top of my hair and along my face, just to brighten it up and give myself some color.

 

My question is this:  can I do highlights w/bleach and foils on extension hair?  Will it come up ok?  Has anyone tried this before?

 

I was thinking, if not, would it make sense to apply a dark weft to my hair (that is how I install) and then buy some extension hair that is the highlight color I want and then glue/LG it to the brown weft?

I think I will probably just add in blonde extensions that are already blonde!

I was really leary about dying good brown extension hair and then having something horrible happen to it!
