Hi Ladies!
I have received my Seamless Hair from Glamourhair and I wanted to share my impressions w/ you.
When I got the hair, I was at first very excited because for the first time ever I have found the perfect match w/ my hair color, I ordered the silky straight 24-14B, in 18'.
After waiting a whole month I thought it was finally worth it. The day after, I looked at the hair at the natural light, and I realised it didn't have the shine or the texture of the Glamourhair hair that I ordered in the past, (that we think may be Bohyme hair).
The hair (that I paid something like $150) was not 4oz at all, maybe 2oz, and it was already dull. I checked the website and they say it is all Remy Cuticle hair. It's hard to believe honestly.
It doesn't feel like that at all. After the first shampoo, I could see that the new hair was drying way faster than the fusion strands that I have still kept on the sides of my head (I have only use the Seamless Hair on the back of my head, my "weak point" when I do fusion myself), another indication that the hair is drier, or has lost its cuticles. It starts tangling a bit already.
Now, for the method itself, I think it's just amazing . I am very very happy I discovered the seamless hair, it's incredible, you put it on very fast and it it very difficult to notice it honestly! I have very very fine hair, so it has always been a major issue for me, regarding hair extension techniques (is it gonna show?!!!), but w/ Seamless it's incredible, you "sandwich" you own hair w/ two pieces of seamless hair. There is no weft, no plastic line, nothing "fake" appearing, just hair, that really seems like it's growing from your scalp.
I am going to wait a few days w/ this hair but I can predict it's gonna get ugly very soon.
I have received the Protac from Sherrie and I am gonna to give a try to this "new" method (new for me!) soon, the only problem: you need to find a weft of hair that matched your own hair...hasn't happend yet for, except this crap hair from Glamourhair!
I have ordered the color 16 in Bohyme, and if it's mixed w/ color 24, maybe it could be a good match & I can try the protac technique soon!!!
So right now I still have a few fusion strands of Glamourhair hair (the beautiful one!), and it's the only way I have found to have quality hair extensions that matches my hair color. I do the strands myself by cuting the hair from the weft, I mix colors with certain proportions (I mix 24 and 27) and pretip the hair myself. All this takes time, but again, it's the only way for me to be happy w/ the color!!
I will keep you posted with my seamless hair in a few days, will let you know how it holds and how easy it is to remove etc.
That is such a shame when you spend a decent amount of money on something and get super excited about it only to find out it isn't what you thought it would be!
I have never treid seamless hair before and by the sounds of it, I just may have to since I suffer from super thin hair as well! I always had the hardest time finding wefts that matched my bleached out blonde hair. Now, going back to dark brown, it is SO much easier to find a match!
Goodluck and if you can take some pics! I will take some of my jetset and ebonyline bohyme when I get it this weekend!

I also tried the seamless from glamour hair. While I didn't have any tangling over the course of 4 weeks, I found the texture of the hair to be courser than the bohyme I'm wearing now. Also, I didn't find the wefts to be any less visible than regular wefts, unless the hair is the same color as your roots. You do get less hair than what you typically get in a 4oz pack of regular wefted hair. I wonder if that's because the plastic strip at the top contributes to the weight?

Yes, the color of the seamless hair I got is a perfect match w/ my own hair color, it's 14B-22 piano. This the good point!
I agree w/ you on the texture of the hair, it's very coarse, but not only that to me, it doesn't have the shine and softness that you get with all the Remy Cuticle hair, so that's why I am suspiscious about that.
After checking Glamourhair website, I also saw that they don't specify the amount of hair you get when you buy seamless, so I really think, even by the overall weight you don't get 4oz of hair, but rather 2oz.
Compared to the protac, I did a little try on the back of my head of one inch, I have to protac is amazingly undetectable, so they are both great for that! And honestly I had the intuition Protac would show way more than that!
It's been 3 or 4 days now and so far no allergy to the protac adhesive, no itching!
With Protac I can use any kind of hair, I know the quality of the hair I am puting on so my guess is I am gonna one more fan of Protac very soon, when I'll do my full install of protac+Bohyme hair!
Take care

frenchie...how much did you pay for the glamourhair seamless?
the protac is great, you are absolutely right, you can use what ever hair YOU want with the protac! Did you use the full size strip or half strip? The full protac stip is TOO much tape (IMO)! You can cut them in half and it still holds just as well and even more comfy!

Hi Sherrie, the whole seamless thing was around $230 but the hair only was $169! ... I tried an inch or protac, and will certainly do little tracks of like 3 inches long on the side, and bigger tracks (almost the full protac size) on the back I guess.
I am going to get the hair tomorow, and I can't wait to do the install. I have been wearing the protac for like 5 days now, it holds great, and I am thinking, even if I have to re-do it every 2 weeks let's say, which is a pessismistic estimation, it would still be time saving compared to fusion. I had to take care of lost strands almost every week w/ fusion!
I am very excited! I will let you know when I am back!
