I need some styling techniques for my short natural hair. I don't know the exact length and its slightly shorter on one side, but most of it barely reaches the tip of my ears oneither side. I've stopped flatironing(cerramic)  for at least a month now but if you have any suggestions that involve that I'll be glad to take them. Also I don't own an overhead dryer yet but if the style includes that I'll log it away for reference.

try a wash and go. the technique is better explained on motowngirl.com. you could even do a chic looking spiked do with motions shine enhancing pomade or  part it to the sides and apply moisturizer with a non alcohol gel , smooth it down and wrap it with a scarf, wait tillit dries and take it off and sport a josephine baker style. if you ain't to crazy about letting it "all hang out" try being creative with some beautiful scarves. the bella website has techniques to wear scarves on your head that look elegant and regal or just plain sassy. go on and enhance the cutie pie in ya:) i hope this helps.oh yeah nappturality .com had a thread a month or so ago about how to wear scarves and had some nice pictures to boot. you could also try some comb twist which is also found on the same website as well as this one and blackhairmedia.
