Wella is actually a very good brand. Give that sample a try and if it works for you, go ahead and try their products. I personally preffer Redken, but that is because it works great for my hair. But if in case of emergency I had to with something else, Wella would probably be among the possible choices. It is a premium brand and does produce very good results.

The have different formulas, may she's not using the right one on you. I bought a combo pack of the color preserve hydrating shampoo and conditioner. I don't color my hair, but it was on clearance at Ulta from $18 to $5. Purchased separe they come out to like $30. So I said, what the heck, just because I don't color It won't hurt. Well, that was some of the best shampoo and conditioner I've ever tried. The shampoo left my hair so soft, I felt I didn't even have to put conditioner on it. But I did it anyway. I refuse to not condition.
So if you can't detangle your hair with the conditioner she is using, she is definitly not using the right one. If I wasn't so addicted to Redken I would try more of their products. The ones I've tried so far are fab!
Much love, Shary

I use the smooth down shampoo and the the smooth down butter treat. They are great. The only problem with the butter treat is that it has candelia wax in it. So if you hair is not super curly it might be a bit heavy for you. If your hair is more on the fine side then you should get the All soft shampoo and the All Soft Heavy Cream. Wear it with a plastic cap on your hair and go under a dryer or heat cap for 15-20 minutes. That would provide deep conditioning. If you don't have a head dryer or heat cap then try applying heat with your blow dryer. You need the heat to open up the cutticle and allow the conditioner to penetrate. Do a protein treatment once a month too. Nexxus Emergencee, or Joico K-pak deep penetrating reconstrutor, are both very good protein treatments. Apply them in the same manner as I explained above for the deep conditioner. After you rinse the protein treatment out then you need to deep condition. Otherwise your hair will feel like straw.
Follow those tips and your hair will be shiny and beautifull in a few weeks. Also, always remember to use a leave in conditioner if you blow dry. Sebastian Potion 9, or Salerm 21 techniques, work great. I alternate between the two. It is also a great idea to slight spray your hair with Redken All Soft Hair Addictive. Do not rinse it out. Leave it in and blow dry. You will have great hair!

Oh either line, wheater smooth down or all soft will detangle anything. They are very rich in emollients. They make hair super soft. I think you will really like them. If there is an ulta store in your area you can get trial sizes of these products there. That way, if you don't like them, you won't get stuck with a big bottle of it.
