Ok. What does one do about static electricity and hair during the Winter?

I`ve never had a problem before, but my hair is longer than it`s ever been.

This will sound crazy but it works for me and I have to be careful of looking greasy. I take a fabric softener sheet (unscented is better unless you love that dryer smell) and rub it lightly over the surface of my hair. No more static.
