HI all!! I hope I can find some help here. I have very porous colored hair. The last color I did, I did not like at all. So I used Color Fix to remove it, did it twice, and colored again. When I did the color fix, I put the majority onto my length and some on my roots. Then when I did the color I put it on my roots longer(15 min) and then put the rest on my length for around 15min or so. I don't mind the color, I'm not inlove with it tho. Plus, my ends are still dark and my roots down about 2 inches are lighter. I'm hesitant to use anything with bleach in it, but is this what I need to do to correct this muddiness?
I'm also getting a sew in soon, and want to have this fixed by then. Also, when I do go to recolor, I want to be a reddish #4, what color level should I use? Thanks!!

You can try cleansing shampoo or dish detergent to assist in the fading of your ends. I wouldn't use anything but shampoo for color treated hair on your roots, though. Are the ends too ash or too warm? Regardless, Artec makes color depositing shampoos and conditioners in any tone. They help., too.
