Can anyone recommend a good hair program for someone with mega thick hair thats just under my chin? I was using carol's daughters but I don't care for the smell of them. I tried Pantene's line for women of color but it felt just like the $1 bottles of White Rain.

Thanks

Aussie Mega and Aussie Moist Conditioners are really good.
Also You could try washing your hair with castile soap or african black soap- i absolutely love it.

Are these products ok to use on African American hair? Do they help to detangle too?

Yes and Yes.

I love Trader Joes Peppermint castile soap and Dr woods castile soap (www.drwoodsproducts.com and www.myvitanet.com ) and also unscented castile soap from www.thechemistrystore.com . HTH

I get my african black soap from ebay and www.agbangakarite.com

Also I'm looking for something to help my hairline grow back in since most of it fell out when I had braids.
