I understand that Garnier Belle Color can be applied to the whole head every time - no need to worry about roots. This sounds too good to be true - can it be applied in this way or is this a misconception? Will it damage the hair? Thanks.

I`ve used Belle colour the last time I dyed my hair for the first time! It was redder, but as everyone know red fades and its really close to my natural colour now (which I like). I like the product...it didn`t stink as bad as some of the dyes I have used!
This dye made my hair feel really healthy and soft.

you can redye over top of dye and if its the same colour it won`t do anything...but you will have no roots!

I hope I have helped you out!!

I am anxious to hear opinions about this too since I love the Garnier that Sarah Jessica Parker has on her hair as part of the model gig. I think it is Sugarcane or something like that. I have always heard not to apply all over the hair but it is such a pain to try and just do roots.

I want to know about that color too! I would think that no matter what you should only do the roots. Does the
package actually state that you can reapply the entire head and not have to just recolor the roots?

UK residents: Has this shade been seen in stores? I can`t find this color.

The instructions say to apply to the whole head for 20 minutes, except for the extra light blonde shades numbers 111 and 110 which is applied using more traditional techniques. I love the idea of not focusing on my roots - my hair is extremely thick and I needed 2 packs of dye even when it was cropped (pixie). Salon professionals have been known to sigh when retouching my roots as it takes forever. I thought if the Belle Color was OK to use in this manner, I would use it. If not its back to the salon.
