I have originally had very short dirty blond to light brown hair. I have been highlighting my hair for a very long time now and i decided that I was going to save a little money and let a friend do it this time! Well......It was a disater! She pulled WAY too much hair out through the cap and my hair looks like I bleached! I really need some help and advice on a quick fix, I am going to a formal this Sunday, Feb. 18!
Please Help! ASAP!

Sarah, This exact same thing happened to me last May!! I couldn`t wait for the salon to open so I had a friend highlight over previously highligted hair. It turned white!!! Please don`t make the same mistake I did. I kept going to the drugstore for more colors to tone it down. Ended up with fried hair, and I wanted to grow it long. Now I have about 2 more inches of damaged hair left that I will be getting cut off next month, so I start out from chin legnth. My advise is don`t touch it with any home haircoloring kits. Go to a salon that specializes in color treatments and have them fix it. I finally went to a specialist last Sept. and my color is very good now, but I had to cut off a whole years worth of growth so that the hair would look good.
