I used to have long hair but I cut it because I could never find a gel that would spike my hair. I would like to grow it out again and find a gel or wax that will hold my hair. My main problem is all the gels I've tried they always curl my hair due to having african american/white hair more black, I don't want it to curl, I want a spiked look. If anyone can help me I'd appreciate it.

Here are some picture of the idea of what I'd like, I know this may not be just gel because his hair might be in twists too. But it's kind of a vivid picture.

You should try Lets Jam.
It doesnt contain alcohol & won't dry your hair out.

Lets Jam is for a soft hold, more for female hair.

I need something thick and will hold my hair in spiking, and won't curl.
