I just wanted to make a positive comment about one box color that actually worked for me!!  Garnier 100%.

I was bleached light blonde and wanted to go darker but everything I tried faded back to blonde and fried my hair...EVEN THE SALON stuff!!  (Waste of $150).

So I bought a couple boxes of Garnier 100% in Medium Golden Brown (my hair is really long) and it turned out absolutely GORGEOUS!  I did it a week ago and there has been NO fading.  Thre was also NO noticeable damage from the product.  It gave me a beautiful dark borwn color with some reddish tones in it.  Perfect, very natural looking, and a great color for the fall and winter seasons!!

I just thought I would post this out there for anyone who is looking to go darker and has had problems in the past with fading and damage.....Garnier100% is GOOD STUFF!  I have tried just about every box color out there and nothing even comes close.  I will use Garnier 100% as long as it's out there and available!!

Look for some before and after posts soon if you'd like to see my results!

They have so many colors that look so tempting... I just may have to try some now.  :)  Glad you found something that works for you!

I am totally against box colors because I have damaged my hair so much from them in the past...but I was desperate to get rid of my blonde straw-looking mess and get back to my natural color.  It worked out great....it's the only box color I would recommend.

I'll post pics tonight.....

You know Garnier is the ONLY one I've never tried? LOL...Right now I'm in the process of using their color breaks highlighting kit though. I'm only doing one strand until I can make sure it wont turn pink or something awful. I didnt know that most highlighting kits are basicly nothing but bleach.
Maybe if I color in the future I'll try garnier.
