Would it be a bad idea if I switched from a no lye relaxer to a lye relaxer because I hate the way the no lye relaxers make my hair feel.  It leaves my hair looking dull and poofy after a while.  I also noticed that my hair had a spongy feel to it.

Also if you are noticing that your hair reverts after washing your hair and you had a relaxer not too long ago you might want to switch brands of no-lye it might not be strong enough or right for your hair type...

Thanks  blackhoney112!!   Ill will look into trying another relaxer that might be stronger because now that you've mentioned it I do have really coarse hair so maybe that is the problem.

LONGHAIRGROWER

IM USED NO-LYE AND  I CHANGED TO LYE RELAXER. I NOTICED WITH NO-LYE THAT HAIR WAS EXTREMELY DRY. I HAD TO USED A LOT OF MOISTURIZERS. SOMETIMES MY HAIR WAS SO DRY THAT NOTHING MOISTURIZED IT.

LAST WEEK I CHANGED TO SILK ELEMENTS LYE RELAXER AND MY HAIR IS NOW SOFT AND HEALTHIER. I RECOMMEND YOU TO CHANGE TO LYE. IM READING SHAMBOOSIE'S BOOK AND HE RECOMMENDS LYE RELAXERS. OTHERS AUTHORS AGREE WITH HIM.MY HAIR BREAKS A LOT WITH NO-LYE BECAUSE OF THE DRYNESS, AND NOW I DONT HAVE THAT PROBLEM. SILK ELEMENTS IS AN EXCELLENT RELAXER . TRY IT . YOU WILL NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEM WITH THIS CHANGE.HOPE THIS HELPS.
