My bright red hair seems to have faded to an almost pinkish colour... it doesn't seem to be fading to orange like it normally does at all!
I want to go blonde and some point but for now I'm settling for a much more orange red. I want to go for a very vibrant colour. I'm wonderring if I dye my hair an orange red, what will happen? Will it mix with the "pink" shades to make a more orangey red? Or will it go orange and pink?

I'm assuming it faded to pink because you had light blond before and
you dyed it that red that has a purple sheen. If this is the
case, it will likely keep fading until the porous ex-blond hair grows
out, you will just have to keep up with redying if you don't want to go
blond now. I would think you may just get quite orange-red hair,
but its best to test strand before doing your whole head to make sure
you will like it.

The first few inches of my hair are very light bannay blonde undeneath
but I doubt the rest of it is. I have very dark hair that I've been
dying red for a long time. The only part of it that has ever been truly
blonde was what I just mentioned. Though I could have lightened it to a
colour that's near blonde and then used one of those "Smart Colour"
things that further lightens as well as dying.
There are bits that are "pinky brown"... I think I just used a weird
haircolour to be honest. It is strange how the banana blonde bits don't
look mch lighter though.
