My head is getting flakey because the weather is getting warmer, and my psoriasis is drying out and turning in to flakes.
The shampoo I have is only drying my scalp out more, and I don`t know what to do. I`m under LESS stress too, so that also has an effect on the psoriasis....PLEASE HELP ME!

If you want to help your dry hair, after you shampoo, instead of using a conditioner use olive oil in your hair. Just apply it and let it sit for a couple minutes then rinse out. Don`t do this more than.. I`d say 3 times a week. Sorry if you don`t like the smell but it helps. :)

Neutrogena makes T/Gel and T/Sal for psoriasis, if you are interested in essential oil treatments, let me know.

I can`t use Neutrogena products! They make me rash or break out

Try using Nizoral: it`s supposed to be a good shampoo for dandruff (I can attest to that). My mom has psoriasis as well, but she hasn`t tried it yet.

I know what you mean about the Neutrogena products: they do an okay job on the scalp, but they make the hair knotty and look lousy!

Don`t give up on trying to find something to help you! Has your dermotologist recommended anything?

The dermotologist just told me to buy a shampoo with tar in it!
