I'm back! Yes I've returned after what seems like years. As some of you may know... I was pregnant, and well now I'm, not! I've had my son!
Anyways next topic,

I was fake blonde, this board helped me so much to get it the right color using only OTC hair dyes. Then I dyed it black, most of you were scared for me, but it turned out great.

Well the black has faded (expect near the front of my face, this ALWAYS happens with hair dye.) I used Feria' HI-Lift for browns to lift some more of the black out in hopes to make it a light brown color... ALAS it didn't work.

My roots and some of the ends turned light brown, the roots are lighter and the ends are a bit darker (no worry to me) but the front part of my hair stayed really dark and I KNOW, I'm going to have to bleach to lift any of it out.
I got my hair cut much shorter, to about my collar bone and now I'd like to EXTRA BLONDE my hair using White LIghtning, has any o fyou used it?
I heard it works on previously black dyed hair, I was just wondering if it's worked for you guys.... I'm going Marylin Manroe blonde for fun and then after I'm dying it light brown with some highlights...

So how does it work?

Hey Bambilee! Ammonia started a thread her a while back wondering where you went.  I told her you were preggers with black hair.  Congrats on your son and I'm hoping you are successful with your new hair color.

I'm hoping to be sucessful... the black was fun but now I want to try to get it that really light blonde I've always wanted, and nwo that's it's shorter it'll look cute. I'll post some pics of what I got now and lets see what I come up with in the next while.. ;)
And thank you! You should see this baby's hair! Its beautiful... I'm so jealous! ;)

Here is what has happened to my hair. Pregnancy has done wonders to it. I hear sometimes it does damage to your hair but my hair has gotten thicker and shiner due to it. The roots and back and underneath is much lighter. And the front side area is still really dark.... do you think using White Lightning may help? I just don't exactly know how I should go about doing it... my hair always seems to end up being a few diffrent shades of the color I want... :S

Haha! And why thank you Hal!
Yeah see if she can do that, it does wonders for the hair, but I don't know if that works for everyone. I heard it can make your hair fall out too... so maybe you shouldn't.

Yes my hair was so thick and silky after actually giving birth... I dunno what happened. It feels so healthy now... and now I will destroy it with bleach...
I can actually get Manic Panic White Lightning.. at a near by Mall. They sell it at the little booth... I was surprised because the Manic Panic website says they can't ship the stuff to anywhere outside the states...  I just want to know if it's worked for people.. I know Amonia used it to get her black out... I am hoping she'll come back and comment.
