I all of a sudden was burned by creme of nature

   I have been using creme of nature for years and all of a sudden a botte just burnt like there was no tomorrow. It was regular and unoppened. Anyone have a sudden unpleasant reaction to a relaxer like this?? My hair was unclean and I havent been sratching much.

 What do ya'll use to ease the pain and keep my hair from falling out. I've been told to use grease but im not a fan of grease/
