Im having my hair paid for for me at Xmas, I desperatly need my roots doing, any idea how they would do my roots since Im basicly all different colors.
Also once my roots are done I wouldnt mind some bleach blonde highlight streaks thru the top of my hair, but Im not sure if its safe to use anymore bleach, just wondering if theres a safter way to go lighter?

The only other way to lighten your hair, without using bleach, is using hi-lift colours, wella, schwarzkopf and other well known brands have them, they are 12/00, specail blonde. You can only buy these in sally's and you need a 12% (40 vol) developer to use with them. The salon you go to should advise you, it really depends on the colour of your hair, which you didn't say. You can use the hi-lift colours for your highlights, causing less damage than bleach.

Hope this helps a little , KarenSmile

At the mo my hairs light brown/blonde, its mixed highlights, I used to have black hair and had 3 full head highlights to shift the black, the 3rd time lightened wasnt my normal colorist, I had to settle for another which she left the bleach on far too long and caused me to loose some hair as it got so damaged, its since then gotten much better but I think i'll ask my normal hairdressers opinion on the color
