update,and question bout pincurls

well for all of you who read my posts about wanting to grow my hair long....its been 2 months since i`ve cut it!!! im proud of myself :) the top is whats taking longest to grow. its only about 2 inches long, but its getting there. my sides and back are sprouting, and i hate mornings lol. ive gotten into the growing out stage, and i`ve been taming it with wetting it down mostly. any suggestions for what i can do with it? its hard to put into any kinda barette b/c the hairs are all different lengths and it wont stay. and my bangs are about a 1/4 inch too short for a headband. so here is my question about pincurls. considering my hair is at shortest 2 inches and longest, 4-5 inches, would pin curls work or would they just stick out all over the place and make my hair even worse? any suggestions would be appreciated :) thanks
