hiya i have been bleaching my hair very blonde for a long time.
i recently went back to my natural dark brown which i really like.
at first my hair looked really shiny but after a few washes the colour has washed out a little and my hair is not so shiny and starting to look quite porous and that kinda bleached way..but dark...

is there a good product to use to get my hair glossy again.?

thanks guys

Biolage Shine renewal spray. The stuff is great. However you have to do alot of deep conditioning. The loss of shine is due to the hair coloring. Try Redken All Soft Heavy Cream. Aply with a heat cap or under a hair dryer for 15 minutes once a week. Or put on a shower cap and use the blow dryer to apply heat if you don't have a heat cap. You need the hair cuticle to open up so the conditioner can penetrate deep. Otherwise no amount of shine product will work after a while. The scales of your hair shaft are "ruffled up" right now. Deep conditioning will help them lay flat again, so the hair can reflect light, therefor making it look shiny again. It will take 4-6 weeks, but it will happen.

Good luck and beautifull hair,
Shary

Your very welcomeSmile.  Do some protein treatments as well. Try Redken deep fuel, or Joico deep treatment hair reconstructor. Do it once a week for the first 2 or 3 weeks, and once a month after that. Always deep condition after the protein treatment, otherwise your hair will feel dry and rough. You won't belive the difference. Oh, and the protein treatments must be applied with heat as well (don't forget to use a plastic shower cap to protect the hair).

Anyway, good luck and great hair
much love, Shary
