What do you think the new 'hot' hair is?  It seems the ultra-straight hair is losing popularity, but not really going away.  Gentle waves were really popular after Jessica Simpson stared in Dukes of Hazzard.   And now?

-- I don't think I'll ever give up my flat iorn.  Although I like to change things up, flat iorning my hair is my quick fix, it is so easy I always do it for day, but at night I try to do other things.

Layered, straight, with some volume or waves. Or that long loose wave look A La Nelly Furtado, before she cut her hair into that ugly style.

Yep, I think it's more of a "natural" look, not so much of the FRY'D DIE'D AND DEAD look people had going on from the flat iron'n. Tho I have to flat iron to get my "natural" loose waves look. LOL

Waves for sure. Too bad they're really hard to achieve for someone with straight hair who doesn't want to fry it with curling irons.

I can never get my hair to look just right wavy, so unfortunately I have to stick with straight.

i dont like the poker straight but i think volume looks good
on long hair i like striaght with curls at the end which is how i wear my own hair
in shorter hair i think strriahgten but with movement and body - remove the frizz but still have volume

I'm pretty sure that waves are the most popular now. I have seen many girls in my school(I'm a junior) who have straight hair and try to make it curly with lots of gel and it looks horrible. Also I have seen (including myself) people who have natural waves and who have been straightening them out, so as a result when they leave their hair unstraightened it's super frizzy b/c of all of the ironing. Also, I can tell specifically b/c my trendy friend is now sporting waves. LOL
