Is there a product that I can use to achieve this look buy using the scrunching method
I wanted to try john frieidas relax line but I heard it was discontinued

I would suggest getting a straw set or get your hair set on rods.

You could texturize your hair but that won't ensure you get the spiral definition. However it will loosen the curls so you can do a wash and go with some product and it won't be as poofy. Also if you do decide on a roller set ( which is a good way to acheive those looks in the pics) The style will look better and last longer
