    Posted: December 23 2006 at 7:12pm
Hello, I'm new here. I am from Trinidad and Tobago and am of African, East Indian, and Carib Indian descent. My hair is usually long, thick, and relaxed. My old-time stylist combed out my hair when it was in curls and left me with thin-ish hair that while still long, looks terrible because it isn't thick!! I decided to grow out my hair using extensions and cut it when the shortest parts are at a decent length. I have no problem cutting it when it gets there because my hair grows very, very fast.

I had a wonderful sew-in. It blended with my hair VERY well and looked extremely natural. Except after my new stylist washed it, to me it was raggedy and thin. That brand was Bijoux which I paid a little over $20.

I came online and saw that Black Diamond, Milky Way Platinum, Lugo's, and Sensationnel are the best ones. Even though now I've read Sensationnel isn't the best anymore.

I don't care about the price, I need a weave that will stay the way it looks before washing. Can anyone give me their advice on the best out there? Thanks in advance Smile

Extensions plus is a favorite for relaxed hair...pretty much a dead on match and will last for several installs.

If you like please check out my hair pics (see site in my siggy). All of the install details are there as well. (length, amount of hair used, etc) As far as I'm concerned nothing matches relaxed/pressed Afro textured hair better than Extensions Plus Relaxed Textured hair.
