This person obviously doesn't know much about extensions since it says that shrinkies can easily stay in your hair for 6-8 months!
She also has a disclaimer on her 'about us ' page where she says she's unlicensed. I know in CA that it is legal for a unlicesned person to apply extensions, but it's people like her that will damage other people's hair with her ignorance.
However, the site does not say that shrinkies can stay in your hair for 6-8 months it says: "With proper care, hair is reusable for up to 6 - 8 months"
It is really crappy when a vendor copies pictures or concepts from another without permission. I'm sure there is more than enough hair extension business out there for everyone. Any competent professional person providing a good product and great customer service should be successful without having to resort to sneakiness and dishonesty.
Good spot metal. And thank you to everyone who keeps an eye open for these things.
I've never seen the site before. If I do supply this salon, I'm not immediately making a connection and they haven't asked to use the photos. I'll be following up on this.
Maybe AMM is her suppiler? I hope so... If not GoDaddy will suspend her contract....
Will GoDaddy really? Good for them if they do! I guess I'd assumed they wouldn't really care - they get their hosting $ and are happy... Handy information as I host with them also.

This person must be a lurker, because AMM coined the term "Protac" and this person calls the adhesive tapes "Pro-Tac".
Really? Describe what goes into "coining" something because I'm
confused....I've seen this tape sold in Los Angeles for several years.
Is something different about protac tapes? They look identical and work
the same.
BTY, who cares if she spells it pro-tac or protac??? What's up???

Malibu, I believe you may have misunderstood....
I was merely pointing out that this person must be familair with AMM's products and/or this forum because they used the term "protac". I don't personally care how it is spelled. Nothing's up...
I read at one time, in this forum, that AMM coined the term, or was the first person to call the adhesive tapes, "protac" ad she began selling them on shrinkies.net and she created her demo on that site. I do belive that the protac tapes are the same as some of the other tapes--- AMM just calls them (and now many of us on the forum also call them) protac.
That's all- they were not meant to be fightin' words.. I was just joining in on the topic.

Oh man, that's just wrong. I think maybe sometimes people just don't realize you can't take the pictures off someone else's page and use them? Go figure.
But as far as using pro-tac, I can't imagine that has anything to do with it. I've seen it called pro-tac and pro-tape and everything else, everywhere even before AMM had it, I think that's what everyone has called it from back in the day.
