QuoteReplyTopic: How can I make my short hair wavy Posted: May 22 2001 at 6:43am
I am a white male with short (1.5" to 2") straight hair and would like to add a little wave to the top without getting a perm. I know black men can use a texture cream to add a wave, is there any products like this for a white male? Thanks for your input :)
You could try to scrunch it. Take some mouse or gel and put in in damp/wet (not super wet) hair, blow and scrunch with your hand. I`m not sure how it will work on your hair. I do it to my hair sometimes and it gives a little wave.

If your hair is thick enough you could try wax or pommade. Those seem to allow you to really mold or sculpt your hair into whatever shape you want, from waves to long spikes that stick straight up (my daughter`s friend has had much success with this "look").
If your hair is on the fine side, stick to really strong hairsprays. And have fun.
